Hi I'm looking for a decent spearfishing wetsuit and the deeper blue shop seems to have a good selection. I'm mostly keen on the 5mm or so camo design ones especially the Mares Camo 55 and was wondering if anyone has some recommendations for quality/value for money suits from here Apnea Suits Australia Dive Scuba store .com

Another thing to note is I live in Australia but even with the 70 or so Euros for shipping, wetsuits are still a lot cheaper from international stores like deeper blue than ones where I live! For example a 140 Euro or 200 AU$ wetsuit from deeper blue is around 450 AU$ or 280 Euros in Australia!

I agree. Diving stuff from down under are immensely expensive. What you can do is try the wetsuits in your local dive store, and after finding what you like, you can order the same suit from an online shop from outside Australia.

I personally recomend Home this way you are getting a CUSTOM fit and they have many designs/patterns to choose from. They also offer several different qualities and prices vary. I've seen a few "off the Shelf" wetsuit worn and they have "loose" areas - they work, but the customs are more comfortable. just my opinion.

Can't tell you about the quality of specific suits, I just wanted to point your attention on tailormade suits by Elios or Diveskin. The cost about the same as most stock suits (sometimes even less) and fit like a glove.

By the way, I was wondering about your math...
If 140 € are 200 AU$ then 280 € should be 400 AU$, shouldn't it?! :t
Good luck with finding the perfect suit for you!

Oops, oh well it was close enough.
