Wetsuit under $250

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

Hey everyone, I'm looking into buying a summer wetsuit for lakes, rivers, and maybe even a vacation down to Aruba. I can't seem to find any strict freedive suits for under $350. I have been looking on various sites and found great prices in my size, but they're scuba suits, ie, Bare 2/3mm and Pinnacle 3mm Breaker. Those suits were both under $200 which is great.

So I'm looking for a 3mm wetsuit under $250.
-I'm 6'1''-6'2'' so I need a medium tall. (Main problem)
Brand doesn't matter as long as its not blue mimetic camo. I could do brown, green, or black.

Also, body glove has a camo suit for $160. The EX3. It comes with a hood and its a top entry, but no medium tall.

If anyone knows where I could find a decent suit, please let me know.

I bought a custom Oceanos suit once and it fit like crap. Others on here have had better luck than I did, but I won't waste my money on another one.

Hi Jon,

I'm wondering if you have any idea about Mares Extreme wetsuit? I've been looking around for some reviews but can't find any.

Scubastore has been out of stock with Cressi Apnea 5mm for more than a week already. Maria has indicated that further delay will take place. That's the reason why I'm contemplating getting the Mares suit.

Like Jon said, you have quite a huge range of choices for $250 budget, if you can fit into standard sizes. If not and you have 30-45 days time, you may want to check with Eliossub (www.eliossub.com) for a perfect fit, Italian custom made wetsuit. I'm not sure about their current prices, but I believe they have the Ecoline, Namliang and Sheico neoprene that should come just within budget shipped to you door. It's really hard to beat custom made suits from Eliossub!!!
 
Thanks for all the helpful surprises. The ML on that Picasso from the store on here seems great! Cheap and it will fit. I just hope that the wetsuits picasso makes are as good as their team black fins!
 
Elios will give you a wide range of choices for various prices. I bought a tailor-made 3mil of Ecoline neoprene for spearfishing. It was around $225. I placed the order and it was in Japan in less than the 30+ days they quoted.
