Hi All,

What size wetsuits are required in the UK. 5mm or 7mm???

Thank you for advice.

The UK is quite big, Scotland or Channel islands can make a big difference but for the mass majority 5mm.
Not many dive in January - mid March so 5mm is perfect. The guys who do dive in the coldest months or live in the far north will use 7mm.

You can also use a 5mm with an under vest of 2mm or 3mm.
Keeps the core warmer without the bulk/inflexibility of a full 7mm.
A full custom suit will fit better and be warmer than an off the peg.
But yeah, 5mm for general use.

Thank you for comments. I bought 5mm XL size wetsuit. Before I have 5mm cressi M size. I give cressi 5mm sizeM wetsuit for my friend gift. Now my size XL.
