I need a new wetsuit. Not now... but it would be nice to have one when the season starts next spring.
The problem is that we have no resellers for spearfishing equipment in germany.
I contacted Dessault and they are disposed to manufacture a made to measure spearfishing wetsuit for me and would make it possible to sell it to germany.

The only thing I don't favour (or I'm not sure) is the cut around the shoulders
My question : What do you think about their wetsuits.

...and guys ....please compose yourself with your comments... :girlie

You can check some other manufacturers too. Idrasub (Trieste, Italy) is very popular here in Croatia, and you can order any detail you want on your suit. I'm sure there are many more manufacturers that can make your measured suit with details you prefer.

Bye!

Why not try Elios I have had made to measure suits for the last two seasons they are very good, produced very quickly and are a good price.

I've never used one, but have seen a few: they are very well built. Any custom suit will be warmer and more comfortable than an 'off-the-rack' suit, whoever makes it (as long as the measurements are correct).
Those look like excellent suits; I'd recommend going with the Xtend as it's bare-cell interior and nylon exterior. That will be the most durable and very warm. The Abysse wil be prone to rips and tears; the Outremer will be colder since it's a cloth interior.
Peace,
Erik Y.

Hello Vivien
What a quite thread :) :) ,after the funny one rofl .
To me you must go with the custom made Vivien, just pay extra 30-40 € but its worth fot it.For Med. summer you will choose 3 mm,maybe an extra 1 mm vest for colder waters. I will advice to you Marea,Polosub or Elios. You can choose a black custom fit one of these .

Thanx!

aydin: yeah rofl rofl the MAD MEDSPEARO CLUB rofl rofl

made to measure > NO DOUBT!
But now, I'm not sure between a custom measure made suit by dessault or marea.
The Elios neopren looks a bit hard and strong.

vivien,

there is not only one type of neoprene, custom suit manufacturers have many differnt types that will suit different customers needs. Neoprene they used on suits differs by their purpose and price. They have harder and stronger neoprene (high density type) for deep and cold bottom divings and soft flexible for shallow and more comfortable diving etc... etc...
