Hey im totally new to this site and i just had some questions as far as spearfishing goes in Oregon.

I own two Hawaiian slings and several different spear tips. I have only gone a few times, and i enjoy going spearfishing in rivers. All i've ever hunted was whitefish, squaw fish and pike minnow. i live the trout and salmon alone cause i know everyone is so damn sensitive about those species. I dont really know what the laws are as far as spear fishing goes. If anyone on here has a bit of information for me regarding where i can go, what i can use, what i can kill and what kind of licensing etc.. do i need? i would really appreciate it. thanks a lot!

Dave
