Since upgrading my gun to a rollergun I've tried so many types of bands but none seem to last very long, they tend to lose a lot of power fast. Ofcourse, same thing happened pre-roller too!

Anyone recommend some durable, good strength bands to use? Link appreciated

PS: I like to make my own bands, so rubber is enough.

What kind of roller d' you have?
You have (well, you better) choose rubbers based on the length of your gun, the diam. of the shaft, etc.
Alemannis use 14mm rubbers with an 8mm shaft and if you look at "ciconat"'s videos on youtube - the setup works magically for them. We tried using 16/17/18mm on our home-made rollers.
The last successful setup is a 6,5mm shaft with a 2x14mm and 1x20mm band. But we had this "split system". Not "wishbone >> rubber >> line attached to the gun" but "wishbone >> rubber >> line >>> rubber >> line attached to the gun".

I have a Beuchat Marlin Elite with Alemanni rollerhead. Im using a 7mm shaft with 16mm bands ATM and it works fine but going to try 18mm bands and see how it works out.

I would say that having 18mm with an 7m shaft is an unnecessary move.
What are you trying to achieve? Keep in mind that your gun is not a "on a heavy side' gun. It could handle funny with an 18mm rubbers :)
But lets just wait for more responses, maybe people have direct experience...
