Come on then chaps tell us what super dooper spearo Christmas pressies you ordered / asked santa for this year...
I'll start: i received a new Technisub Micro mask with prescription lenses - its like diving in HD and i could see so much more!! :) I also got a cadence sensor for my bike but thats not quite spearo...
What did you find in your stocking...?

I didn't get any spearo gear at all. :(

But I did buy myself a set of Lie-nielsen mortice chisels and a bench plane. :)

a good 60% of my diving these days is spent searching for crab, lobsters and Flatties. Santa dropped off a seac 80cm flattie stick with removable 4 prong head. I reckon it will come in handy for getting the lobbies out of there holes aswell

also got the River Cottage Everyday recipe book which has some really good Fish recipes in it as well as a cooking pot for fish pies :)

I bought myself a cheap Avon rover to do a bit of spearing in around the bay. she's old but still got pleny of life in her :)

Some nice toys there..
Jason, what's the Q Power line for - is that for kitesurfing, or do you use it for spearo?

I got loads of normal Xmassy stuff like jumpers and aftershave but my better presents were from my wife. A bonsai tree, a day trip on a whale watching boat and season 1 of whale wars...

I also got myself 5mm gloves. I bought my wife some freediving fins, winter socks + gloves and an omer laser knife ;) Who says romance is dead :)

Yes the Q Power Line is for spearfishing. Here in the states the 600lb line is popular as a reel line. It is generally available in 150' and 200' spools, but now that you have directed me towards the kitesurfing applications I see that it is available in much larger spools and for less money. Thank you!

Santa was a bit late this year, but it was definitely worth the wait! Yesterday I received my new Ulusub 145 Mid-Handle ;) Can't wait to give it a go!

Sweet! These teak guns look awesome, and they have a strange sensorial effect on me: everytime I see a picture of an Ulusub I feel like smelling the flavour of coffee and spice. It's like Pavlov's dogs' bell to me. Strange but that's it.

PS: to me, Santa brought me nothing. But hey, I have already ten spearguns, a polespear and a hawaiian sling. And Santa knows that. He knows it all...:head
