Nice old Jaguar but there is plenty of room to improve your 75, 6.5mm stainless spear & a dry barrel kit perhaps?

thanks but...
could you be more specific please?
i'm not shure i understood what improovment to what gun?

ok
now i understand
but i want to get answer at another question:
why the manufacturer put those holes in the muzzle?
i allways thaught that it was important for water to get inside to reduce somehow the speed of the piston [wich is made of plastic], and could be broke if hits the amortizor in the muzzle with to much speed...
perhaps i was wrong :(

The muzzle relief ports let the trapped water out, they were there even when the piston and shock absorber were made of metal. Your "Jaguar" will have a metal piston, although it also contains a couple of springs that operate the spear tail retention system that hangs onto the ball at the rear of the spear.

Is that the original muzzle on the "Jaguar"? I have not seen a shiny one like that before, plus it has extra holes in it.

no
this is not the original muzzle
in fact this gun is a replica of the original one, but was made by an old fellow who hunted in the last 60 years on our black sea [he is now 80-th], and because he is to old to hunt anymore, he gave me this amazing piece of technology.

That is quite amazing! I am sure some of us would like to see a better picture of the gun?
Vali, there are thousand of folk who have converted their air guns to the dry barrel system with no problems. If you could find a 90cm asso & fit it with a kit, 6.5mm spear with the line fixed at the front & some 150lb mono, then you would have the ultimate mullet gun :)

i will try to do more pictures:)
asso90
i was so close to buy an asso90 but i was affraid that it was to hard to load her under water without bending the spear :(

Very cool thanks for the nice images, I love the first few as well.

Cheers, Don

Judging by the grip handle and trigger it looks like the original gun was the "Nuovo Jaguar". Remanufacturing the gun would have been a big job, there appears to be a number of changes both at the muzzle and rear end.

I see you have an unusual and interesting slider. Can you put some picture of the slider? I can not see how the line is attached to it.

of course I will
is made from an unussual type of plastic caled "teflon" in my language...not shure what it is called in english...
the advantage is that are not noises when are frictions between spear and this slider...[metalic noises can create vibrations and the fish could leave in fear...
as sun as i can i will post those images:)

Thanks, nice!
It is a very good hydrodynamic slider! :friday

Nice:friday a little melted wax in the knot port would be cool to the molecules :), or is that to produce a bubble curtain to enhance hydrodynamics.:)

Cheers, Don

this table is for ASSO pneumatic and is in the documentation book of the gun...
i hope that can be usseful for some of us :)
