What is blade angle?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Are you guys talking about the maximum angle of the blade from its attachment point(when bent)? or what?
 
blade angle is the angle between the footpocket and the rest of the blade. This angle is measured when the blade is at rest (ie no bending). place some fins on the floor and you'll see chances are they aren't completely flat!

Angle helps relieve tension in the ankles, and might or might not make the blades more efficient.

the main reason for angle is to reduce drag by bringing the blade in line with your body instead of haning down as your feet want to do
