What kind of seastar?

Shadowkiller, what kind of seastar is this?

Took it this afternoon at the ladies beach, and found the baby stingray as a nice surprise :D

ok weird shit going on here.

1. First time round i could only see the first pic, hence the dunno.

2. after posting I couldnt edit my reply but saw all the pics.

3. Actual answer: Its definitely an Astropecten sp. possibly A. vappa though Im not sure if that species is found where you took the pic.

4. Still cant edit or delete my posts?

I dunno why you would be... I mean, it aint no hippo... but...
