What to do in Kos (Greece)?

Okay, I received a pretty nice birthday gift from my girlfriend. She booked an all-inclusive vacation for a week at Kos, Greece. She set it up secretly and we already leave on thursday.

For the last 15 years I booked all trips and vacations myself and I exactly knew what to expect with regards to freediving/diving. This time it's different, so I thought I would get some help from the Deeperblue members.

what's is there to do in Kos city? any good other places to visit? Diving? Freediving?

Any tips and help are appreciated!

Sneak over to Kalymnos on the ferry. Not far from the main port of Pothia, you'll find an abandoned dive centre at Thermes. Swim out from the concrete jetty for 1 minute. The water will be about 40m deep there. Enjoy

Women are a strange creature, maybe try and find out if it was a secret holiday so you can't do any freediving and have to spend time with her.

hahaha, well fortunately she likes the water as well! So she brings her snorkel gear, and that's excuse enough to do some deeper dives as well. :friday
