What to do with JBL Elite 53 Sawed off - it was a gift

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
"Boat anchor" lol.
Actually I'd sell it if you're a freediver- that's a decent, bulletproof gun and there should be a few buyers out there, especially on Ebay. If you're a scubaguy then use it!
Spearboard has a lot of scuba hunters and that might be a good place to sell it too.

I knew this would be opening a can of worms... but something for a comparable price that can take down bigger fish that stray into the shallower waters (50ft max depth). I'll be in the Sea of Cortez and I recently saw a Yellowtail but my Omer 75 didn't have the juice to get me 15ft effectively. I need something but can't afford to spend much more. Thanks again!

Also, everyone has negative things to say about JBL but are the new Elites an exception to the rule now?

I don't know them, but I hope they are better suited for a freediver. I ate a lot of dinner supplied by my JBL, but the Euros are so much easier to work with. If a new JBL is as tough as the old ones and works, I'd be interested.
Have fun in the Baja!
