I just ordered in new EVO HF 90 and I am looking to upgrade it. I spearfish for carp in lake michigan, with larger ones being over 30 lbs. Should I get a tomba kit? I am thinking I should go with a threaded shaft and breakaway tip like the mori 4" with spectra cord, but am unsure. Also, What are the best shafts to buy, and were? Should I upgrade the slider and rigging while I am at it?

I installed the salvimar muzzle on my cyranos (older blue handle model) and absolutely love them. They are quieter now and seem easier to load too. ScubasWorld sells good shafts for pneumatics.

I would leave it as it is to try it first. That gun should shoot well. Just use it with mares race slider and put some thinner mono, maybe not thicker than 1.5 mm, for big carps.

My guns came in today (the 70 evo and 90 evo hf) I will try them as they come. Any recomendations on pressure settings? Also, the tip that comes with the 70 evo looks low quality, any recomendations for tips and better shafts? Also, I don't see any factory replacment shafts for the 90 cm gun, are the ones from spearfishing world good quality?

The ones from spearfishing world are very good. Had them for years.
