Going to pop into the local dive store (Adrenaline, cheers benny!) to check out their christmas specials this afternoon or one other day this week, in particular searching for wetsuits...

I was wondering what I would be best off buying, spring suit, freedive suit, regular steamer etc??

I am a basic recreational type, no competition freediving at all, just grew up in the water and am looking to increse my season and my in-water times by warming things up.

bit more info, the main aim as I said is longer in-wter sessions and being able to extend my swimming season, I am also using it in lovely warm brisbane / Gold Coast, and looking to take it to Fiji next year as my parents house sit there for three months anually. So those are my requirements! I'm a neoprene dummy, ask me about lycra though.

good choice of shop in risbane one of the biggest in the southern hemisphere and they have a huge range.

personally i think a 3mm 2pce spearfishing/apnea style suit will work best for you as an alrounder.

Cressi Comp 2 is probably the most comfortable suit for the money and is very reliable and will last a liong time, if they are a little pricey then check out the Cressi Apnea suit its a suit we have made specialy for the australian market (not aavailble anywhere else atm) they are open cellinner so you will need to use lube but they are a great suit (bennyB has one)

regards
