Whats Wong with this gun?
Nothing! Except that it deems to defy gravity and has a unique one of a kind Camo Paint job. When I got back from the Philippines in May I sent Daryl my 55” GR hybrid rear handle gun for some routine maintenance and a special challenge custom camo paint job.
What I got back is a tribute to his craftsmanship and artistry. To sing praises of Daryl’s customer service or pay tribute to the qualities of his guns would be like casting pearls before swine if you are outside the spero community.
I have yet to visit a forum where someone does not ask, “What kind of gun should I get?” The answers my friends are blowing in the winds of experience, intellect, and sponsorship tainted by the sincerity of he who would respond.
Who makes the best gun? Why each will say with impunity that he who made the gun they wield is best. Logic defies that they should use anything less that the best for themselves so how could they declare otherwise. Still one is left to question can they all be right? Perhaps so. This isn’t a post about who makes the best gun.
Daryl Wong doesn’t need an endorsement from an unknown senior citizen who’s only claim to fame is his passion for the sport. One of the things that set’s Daryl Wong apart from the competition is his thoughtful guidance and support after the sale. He not only stands behind his product he stands alongside of you to insure success. As much as I have appreciated his friendship over the years my relatives, in the Philippines, count more on the many fish that end up on the Wong side of my gun.
I felt compelled to share these two terrific pictures so others could see the one of a kind Camo Custom paint job he did for me. The other shot depicts two of the great passions in my life.
