Another thread for gunbuilders (sorry )

When you were in the process of making a gun:
Did you make any mistakes?
Where did you make a mistake?
Why did it happen?
How did you fix it?
What is the gun like now?

Any other information or photos would be greatly appreciated, as it will be a wealth of information on Do's and Don't of gun building for newbies like me!
