Where - in the world?

Help me out with some tips from where you did your training!


I`m a padi rescue diver and want to take some spesialty courses round the world, where the conditions are best for each dive,
Here`s what i want to do :

Ean Nitrox / tech
Rebreather
Wreck dive
Cavern dive
Deep Dive
Night Dive

Divetech on Grand Cayman would be a nice place to knock off a bunch of those classes.

Akumal would be the place to do the cave stuff.

If you dont mind the cold, then Puffin Dive Center in Oban, Scotland would be able to do those courses for you, and probably put them into a schedule to suit you too. The rebreather course would depend on which rebreather you wanted to learn.

The first thing I would do is decide "where" you would like to go - the world is a big place! Once you have narrowed it down I would recommend viewing dive centre websites in the area www.diveindex.com should help with this. You need to also consider what budget you have as some countries are more expensive than others!

Email the dive centres and you should get a feeling depending on responses etc. as to which centre you will use.
