where to wear your knife

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I like to dive with 2 knives..I have a spiderco that I often put on my belt (this has to change or I fear I will lose it). and also a knife on the inside of my right calf, I am right handed but find it easier to access then on the LHS...

The knife on my calf is the burley or "whatever" knife it is a picasso dagger and the steel is to soft.. I will replace it soon. This knife is not particularly sharp... ok it's really pretty blunt.

The spiderco is ONLY to be used in emergency it is VERY sharp and has serations this is handy when your using dyneema. I plan on finding a way to put this on my wettie on the chest as this way one arm or the other should be able to reach it.

Knife would be one of the most important saefty aspects.

I'm sort of surprised there have been no posts about wearing a knife in a knife pocket on the thigh right where the strong hand hangs. I did that for years in my scuba days and it was a most convenient arrangement. I have not put a pocket on my OMER suit yet but plan to unless I hear a good reason not to. A properly constructed knife pocket on the thigh is tangle free and accessable with either hand. Fast, too. Right now I'm just clipping an OMER Hunter to the back of my weight belt and that seems to work pretty well, too, with no wetsuit mods required.
