Hi my bunch of aquatic friends!!

Have been off the circuit since early december, apart from a few quick 'look-ins', but hopefully things will quiten down and allow me to catch up, and more importantly, get back into the ocean again.:friday

Hope everyone has had a good start to the new year both diving-wise and everything-wise!

It's probably of no interest to all you water-types, but have been away with a group of 7 top European test pilots and world champions from a paragliding company called Ozone, travelling accross South Africa, making a film of their flying trip. Was absolutely fantastic, you could compare it to being on a film making trip for 3 weeks with the worlds top freedivers, was very inspiring!

Took my trusty Rabitech out of the cupboard, to find a badly rusted spear, so about to start on a bit of gear maintenance, then get hunting!:)

C-ya

Jeff

You always come with such great stories. Nice to see you've returned. Stick around for a bit, won't you ;)?

Welcome back jeff! how about some pics of the paragliders in action!

Hi All

Herewith 2 pics from my cross country paragliding safari with the European Test pilots.

I hope they go thru. The one pic is shot above the 'Verneukpan' in the Northern cape flatlands. This pan is actually where the Bluebird driven by Campbell broke the landspeed record over 50 years ago. His tracks are still visible.

The ocean shot was flying over my favourite freediving area of Wilderness, in the Southern Cape.

I was flying with the video camera, but these pics were shot by our still photographer Eric Knoll.

Jeff:)

welcome back! cool pics :) is that place really called verneukpan? hahaha rofl

Freedives, ..........paraglides, ......... are you a brain surgeon and a rock star as well????

I'm going to have to insist that you give me "your life" right now. My big events in the last sixty days were two freediving trips that were each ruined by 3 meter seas!

Hail Jeff, .......... a gentleman who knows how to live large!!! Kudos to you!

:)
