Which Freediving magazine?

Hi,

There hasn’t been a thread on this topic for a while now so I thought I’d start a new one.

I have Been looking on DB for a while now for a free-diving or spearfishing magazine to purchase. The most recent discussion thread I can fine on here is from 2011 and it mostly gives links to South African, Australian and New Zealand spearfishing publication.

Are there any I’ve missed?

Most of these are still active and produce quarterly issues but are not readily available in the UK. They are all about £8 each plus international shipping that is not advertised on the webpage (Meaning it is probably expensive! ).

Im a student so I don’t have a lot of disposable income and don’t really want to fork out too much money on a subscription that might not be what I’m looking for. I am a free-diver that has done a tiny amount of spearing but would like to do more.

So which spearing magazine that has the most free-diving related content in it?

Which one does anyone else get?

Are there any UK stockiest?

Does anyone have a couple of old issues I could have a look at and compare to help me decide which one to get?

There is also Ultimate Spearfishing. It's Chris Coates' magazine, the maker of OneFish (+Going east) movies.

Ultimate Spearfishing Magazine

I only have a couple of them so far, but I like it. Lots of long trip report write-ups and spearing tales, with a couple good multipage articles on safety and technique in each magazine and not too many ads.
