Quick question, Does the Hero 3 need the blur fix kit for underwater filming same as the older models?

That's a great price where was that from if you don't mind me asking ? Ta

Excellent, great choice. Have fun with it.

Is their much difference in the silver and black edition,i'm buying a black in the U.S for $400,the silver is $300,is it worth going for the black for an extra E70/60 Sterling ?(this also includes an extra battery pack free with either edition)

It's comming from flea-bay. Theres a few selling for around the £200 mark.
As far a I can make out the white is the most basic eddition, silver is general purpose and black is for serious/pro users.
Can't see the low prices lasting for long. Not told the wife yet:duh. Going to sell my Cyrano 970 to off set some of the cost.

Outstanding find here Rubber Duckie some of the UW HD cameras on that web site look excellent... definitely let us know how you get on with ordering, using etc

Not sure about that plastic waterproof cap... doesn't look very secure?

Hi

can anyone recommend where to buy some flat lens for HERO2 ?

I been looking for a while but can find only GoPro housing with flat lens around £40 mark which I think is a bit too much, so I rather sell my nearly new HERO2 and get HERO3 for little or no extra cost...

cheers

Just noticed Hero Go Pro cameras (black) for sale in ARGOS !! £ 359.99

I am planning to change my old GoPro HERO 170 SD to a new GoPro Hero3 models but not sure which one to choose.
My mind goes with black as it is the sharpest and the most sophisticated but the price is also highest. I am wondering is there really that much difference between underwater performances between Silver and Black editions to pay 100$ extra. I will only use it for spearfishing in movie format. Also same comparison for White and Silver models.
Thanks
