Whom to contact about freediving & Spearo on the Greek island of Kefalonya?

Another question. How much would it cost and what's the best way to go from Athens airport to Patra port???

Im not greek, but I used to work as a yacht skipper in the area and I loved to snorkel and freedive. To get from athens to patra take the bus from athens coach station - pretty cheap, and the busses are air conditioned! Im pretty sure this will work out the cheapest.

As for freediving, there are plenty places around cefalonia. just explore!! 2 bays down from Fiscardo is a bay called ormos evreti and there is a lovely wreck of a greek caique in about 4m. the bay also has a half finished pier that has piles that go to perhaps 7 - 8 m good for warming up! for deeper stuff, you do not have to go far offshore at all as the area is pretty deep.

Also the caves at argostoli and mellisanni maybe!!?! let me know how you get on!

sorry, I ve never been there fishing but, rumours say the best place for sf is the northern part, mostly agguatto and deep...take care of the currents, ask for a license in the port Authority, enjoy your stay! if you have a buddy you can also rent a small boat ...
As mishnish said, ask in the airport for the best way to go to the bus station for patras...
