Hi, I am a new freediver/becoming one, but have not yet gone past 10 meters (working on equalization lol) so I have yet to experience real freediving to its fullest. I have a question, why do you like freediving? I am trying to find something about it that motivates me to go further. Do you all like the pressure? The feeling of sinking in the water or just being submerged? What motivates you? What do you like about freediving?

Hi « Sea_echols »
I began in 1965 and I said like the song … : « I believe I can fly » …
The feeling of being weightless was wonderful
For a long time my interest is to film wildlife
Here below in Indonesia at « Raja Ampat » with manta ray (position 7:25 on the video)
Don't forget to choose 1080p

Great video! It's somewhat similar for me, I've started back when I was like 15(early 00s). I never really got into filming, but always admired people who are doing this kind of stuff! Keep up the good work.

I'm another diver who started in 1965. For me, its flying like Peter Pan, especially when the water is clear. For many years, it was also the thrill of the hunt.
