Why isn't OMER available through DB store??

I see that OMER is a DB sponsor, but their gear is not available through the deeper blue store. How come????? I'm still searching for a pair of fins and I would like to go through the DB store.

Are you referring to the Scuba Store? http://shop.deeperblue.net/
It's actually not owned by Deeperblue, but it is a Spanish concern based in L'Estartit, Spain. Why not email them direct, they might be able to help you.
Try fina@scubastore.com. She speaks really good English and might be able to assist.

If you're looking for a great deal on fins, you may want to consider buying some Omer footpockets from www.spearfishinggear.com and then buying a pair of C4 carbon blades from me since I have a bunch laying around that I will never use (brand new of course).

Omer gear sold in the usa has to go through the regional rep. That's why overseas companies cannot sell to buyers in the USA. Their site is www.omerdiving.com and Mark Labocetta is the guy. He would direct you to an authorized dealer such as Spearfishinggear.
Warranty and other support of Omer products is really outstanding thanks to these guys.

I checked out the site and they do have really good prices on some of their stuff. There is a place in Santa Barbara which is closer to me which has some competitive prices too. Blue water hunters is the name of the place.

It's always great when you can go to a local shop and buy what you need. Unfortunately, there's nothing in my area so everything is done on line- except for Sphera masks which can be bought at almost any dive shop.

I've bought gear from Blue Water Hunter in the past and they had great service whenever I've ordered from them.

Well, they are only local in that I can get to them in one day of driving.... I would still have to do 90% of my shopping with them via phone or computer anyway. But we can get down there for a family vacation now and then, so that is why I consider them "my local dive shop"...

I can get almost everything from a local dive shop except a Sphera mask, which is exactly what I need. I think there's not a single Sphera here in Estonia. :head

You are very fortunate. My only really local shop (still over an hour round trip for me) is basically a tank only shop. Their eyes roll in the back of their head when I start talking freediving.
