Commentary William Trubridge Postpones March World Record Attempt

Recently we announced that William Trubridge was planning to try and best his current world records in Free Immersion (FIM) record as well as Constant Weight No Fins (CNF) during March 2016. Since then we’ve heard online reports that William has decided to postpone his attempt till sometime later in the year, possibly around July,

Brave decision William, considering the media and other logistics involved.

With the current level of the WR's improving one takes a lot more effort, favourable genetics and dedication then the early days' records.
I expect no more big jumps in World records in Freediving, as I see equipment and training gradually reaching a/the plateau.

I hope we can see more WR attempts, but I think we need to wait for Goran and other great dynamic divers to reach the same depths before we may see another constant weight (CWT) world record.

I which William lots of energy and good training moments, and good weather and water for your attempts.
I love to hear what you've learned, what you've changed to reach those new depths.
