Yeah, just when you think there will be tassles....EDIT.... Sup with that Scott?

I guess that you HAVE lost a bit of weight! That suit never used to slide on so fast.

BTW: I don't care what Jeremy calls it; it's a Beaver Tail and not a Thong Strap.

Did you guys like the "JACKASS PARTY BOY" Music? I could make another video of Taking off the wetsuit- play it in slow mo - but thinking about that kinda Weirds me out!

taking the hood off you would have to do the head shake like the models do.

oooh... looks very cool. do you wear it on your forearm or leg...? (appears leg I guess)
for the price I can buy 3 of those instead of the titanium, but the titanium is supposedly lightweight metal, and will not rust.

I assume if you clean your knife well, corrosion is not a prob?

In that price range I was looking at this Mako one but was not sure if the handles would make them more diff. to hold on to while dispatching my catch... I like the way it appears to 'click' into the sheath...

the Spetton has an elastic ring that appears you have to wrap around the handle... is it quick/easy to use in a hurry?

Fletch , when you consider how much to pay for a knife , it's possible you might lose it at some point . Or maybe thats just me !
Now I use the cheapest knife that'll do the job .

good point... same reason I don't buy expensive sunglasses... makes sense.

Pimpin a new flag set-up on my Best Diver Float. If a boater doesn't see this, they may take a spear...

Holy crap! Do you have 10 lbs to ballast that thing? That pole must be fiberglass.

PVC pipe and an old fishing rod I cut up. If it cap-sizes, I will have to counter-balance, but it is very light. Can't wait to see.

Jon, I see that you have a Best Hunter float and orange float line in one of your pics. I'm looking to get more equipment, so I was wondering if you have any feedback on that float, and where can I get that type of float line, or did you make it? Do you always use the float line in place of a stringer? My best guess is that you guys are only using your float lines to string smaller fish and not carp sized prey.

I bought the float from the Deeper Blue store and i use it all the time. I have a tiny Sporasub Torpedo float that I will use sometimes if I'm on a small, no motor, lake, but I really like the Best Hunter float- Ted calls it my "Swiss Army Knife" float because of all the stuff i have attached to it. There are pockets for my camera, extra defog, water bottles, and food. There are also enough straps to lash on three guns, a sling, and two extra shafts.

I used to have a black float line, but felt uncomfortable around some of the more aggressive hook+line fisherman around here who are always on top of me and sometimes will follow me around to see what I get. I try to tell them about the LAW, and how they need to stay 100' away, but they seem to think that they own the lake. I've had to resort to pulling out my camera and taking pictures of their boat registration numbers and faces in the past. Anyway, after enough of that I decided to get the brightest float line I could find to attach to my float. It's 40' long and cost me less than $50 from one of the on-line dive stores- I forget which one. It's nice and big and seems to increase my area on the surface as it floats in between my float and me.

A couple of years ago Chris (ILdiver) found these "Speed Stringers" that I think were made by Rob Allen. It's the slickest little thing I've ever used. Instead of being limited by my clothespin stringer i can just unclasp the end from my belt and string the fish onto it. They slip up the float line and all the way back to the float on their own. This allows me to reload and continue hunting at a much quicker pace than I had been in the past. The stringer and line are more than strong enough to string along at least a dozen carp. That was actually one of the main reasons I bought it. A few winter ago Scott and I got into a huge amount of carp by the outlet. I had to keep swimming back to shore after every 6 fish to dump my stringer and go out for more. If i had owned the Speed Stringer back then i could have gotten a 100 of them that day- as it was be shot around 110 between 3-4 of us. If you do a search you might find the photos from that day on here.
