I thought that would get your attention, now let me finish.
Wong spearguns suck the best out of every speargun i have ever used, chuck it in the tumbler and spit it out in the form of a wong speargun. These things are amazing, a friend from Singapore brought his over and let me use it, I can not stress how cool these weapons of 'fish killery' are!!:martial
They are soooooo acurate, so powerful, so manoverable, so reliable and soooooooo sexy. I know why he gives a life time warrenty, cause you dont need it, this guy uses his all the time for 5 years or so and never a problem.

I shot more fish with this gun in a day than i do in a week with my euro, they are unbelievable. Mr. Wong if you are reading this then you should know your guns are the dogs ballairicks, you are doing some amazing work and i will be in touch shortly regarding a 55" midhandle reef gun. It will be the first in Thailand. Watch out my fishy friends here i come.

Hi Pastor, which gun do you use the most - is it the infamous Wong Red Dragon?

I only got the Wong 2 or 3 weeks before the end of last season but I used it every dive over that time even on a couple of occasions when it was a bit long. My go to gun is a teak mid handle euro that I made a couple of years ago to match a couple I inherited from friends departed. I'm going to buy myself a 42" (~90cm) Wong either later this year or early next year as a daily work gun for the bad viz days

Intriguing. Sounds like that might cover almost all conditions found in the UK (like the Mamba 90?). Not tempted to get something cheap & cheerful then?! I wonder if mid-handles just fell out of fashion because euroguns are simpler & cheaper to make?

I think because all our guns came from the Mediterranean makers and the standard euro gun was/is better suited to their conditions, they stopped making mid handles so we couldn't buy them. Now no one uses them anymore hence the hostility whenever they are mentioned. People are always sceptical of things they don't know, I was too but it only took 1 dive with a small Riffe to know that that style of gun was a better option for me.

that insect just got me good pastor ! has it always been there?!

thinking of getting a super short wong with the right maneuverability to get that insect!! then bill pastor for a new screen
