I'm doing a masters degree in Neurobiology. I guess I'm a scientist, but I dislike thinking of it as work - I do it out of scientific passion (and the scholarship students get here is below the minimum wage :hmm).
This entails some course work and doing research in a lab for 30-70 hours a week.
I work on a few different projects, but in general I'm doing diffusion-MRI scans on rats, trying to look at the connection between micro-structures in the brain and behavioural/pathological parameters.
I will likely continue to PhD studies in the same field next year.
Any other scientists our there?
