Hi everyone,
I'm speaking to a few of the local dive charters at the moment, trying to arrange some freediving on some of the wrecks and shallow reefs around Plymouth. I'd really like to do the Scylla and James Eagan Lane, I think they'd be a good place to start. There in about 25m of water, but because the ships are sat upright there decks are about 12m below the surface so pretty accessible. There are also other shallow wrecks and reefs in the area to explore. I was thinking mid week would probably be best as there would be fewer scuba boats to contend with, SMB's would be a must!
If anyone's interested in this or just doing some general freediving/spearfishing from the shore please let me know.
