I have a Pulce 40 myself but i am missing some parts in the pump and are unable to reload it. would you be able to show me how is the inside of your pump to know what I am missing or let me know where i could get my hand on a new pump. eventually would you consider selling your pump seperately.

The Pulce, it was also sold as the Pirate in some countries, is a pneumatic speargun notable for having an elliptical air tank. The gun used a three steel ball system in a collar that clamps down on an annular notch behind the spear shaft tip to hold the shaft when the gun was cocked. Pulling the trigger caused a sliding outer collar to withdraw thus allowing the steel balls to move outwards just enough to let the spear fly out of the gun. The disadvantage of this system is the balls are out in the saltwater and can rust or wear flats on them. Once the balls no longer move inwards and outwards smoothly then the system can jam or the balls can fall out of the muzzle. The three steel ball system has been used elsewhere inside the gun to hold a piston by the tail, but there it is covered in oil and protected from salt and grit. The Pulce was an early effort to make a pistol style rear handle pneumatic speargun, but although novel in concept the idea was flawed. Guns that gave trouble were either retired or thrown out as much better weapons arrived over the next decade. Technically these are known as forward latching spearguns, the annular notch on the shaft weakens it, being very close to the speartip, which is not very desirable.
