The 2026 CMAS World Cup Spearfishing took place in Sagres, Portugal, from September 2–6, bringing together spearfishing athletes and teams from different countries for several days of competition. XTAR was proud to support the event, thanks to our connection with professional spearfishing athlete and ambassador Fares Boughzala.
For the competition, we provided a selection of XTAR gear, including the Hunter DH1 1600 dive light, D20 PRESS dive light, and PB2SL V2 charger & power bank. Spearfishing is about adapting to real conditions - visibility, depth, currents, weather and the underwater terrain can all change the game. We’re glad to support a community that puts equipment to the test in such demanding environments.
