Yet another dumb static question

I occasionally do dry statics to keep the feeling of deep relaxation fresh in My mind, especially before dives.
The thing that brings My statics to an end isn't the contractions tho or any feeling that I'm about to conk out. The thing that makes Me quit is being too hot, so hot that My skin feels like its on fire and something is about to explode. Its a real pain in the rear when I feel like I'm comfortable with the contractions and feel I'm good for another minute or so.

Is the burning up sensation something to be worried about?

There's a sound physiological account of this, but it escapes my recollection at the moment. Maybe in a little while when I cool off I'll remember it and post it.

That would be great if You can dig that out :)
Someone on the http://forums.deeperblue.net/beginne...urning-up.html thread mentions samba and i forgot to mention there is a slight shivering but its more like being pumped when I do 150 pressups rather than loss of control.

I get very hot during dry statics - near the end.

My answer is simple - wear less clothes! and pull a blanket or something over you at the start and chuck it off when it gets hot.

Doing static by an open window is also quite nice!

Thats exactly My own experience and almost exactly the way I tried to deal with it.
I lay on the bed next to the open window to do statics and I lay My T-shirt over My chest and when I start burning I pull it off. This buys Me a fair bit of time but the end when it comes is always the same... sudden rush of heat.

I might try push on through the heat sometime and see what happens.
