Hi all. I am new to the world of Freediving. It all started about 2 years ago in Mexico. I was amazed at how the Divemaster could go so deep, so easily, for so long. I gave it a shot and went down about 20' came up sputtering and gasping for air. In the following years through reading a book and info on the internet I found out the use of a proper duck dive and exercised my lungs for a moderate Breath hold. I can now dive 40'-50' easily. This summer I am going to go for the 60' mark. I just have to convince my buddies to come along:friday (for a spotter) and find a good lake to do it in.

Welcome from Texas! Keep practicing and yes always have a spotting buddy.
