It's pretty well established that yoga enhances apnea ability. My gym has free yoga lessons included in the membership price, so I thought I'd get myself along. However, I made a call and find out there's different types of yoga available. There are also independent yoga classes nearby.

I'm confused, are all yoga's equal? Are particular flavours of yoga suited to apnea, if so, which should I be looking for. Does a generic "yoga" class have benefits?

Thanks

any yoga will likely benefit your diving(flexibility, relaxation, etc.), quality of a class can very greatly depending on the teacher- since its free for you at the gym cant hurt to start there, pranayama yoga is the one that focuses specifically on breath and breathholding

After allot of looking into Freediving and yoga I have found hafa yoga to be the one has it mainly trains breathing and relaxation :)
