Hello everyone,

my friend and I recently started with freediving. Unfortunatly we live in Belgium and freediving is still very unknown here. We've been looking for freedivingclubs but they don't exict in Belgium (or they are to far away).

To bad because we are so passionate about freediving and we are already training every day in a pool but we don't realy have a training program to follow. So we were wondering if anyone of you guys know a training program for biginning freedivers.

I don't know if our ages changes anything but we are both 16.
We always train together and we are well aware of the risks that come with freediving. My static dry time is 2min and my friend's is 2 min 26.

Hope someone can help us. We have got a lot of free time (summervacation) so it doesn't matter if it's a long training program.

Thx

Send a pm to Trux (here on DeeperBlue). he is a trainer for a club in France, and is very aware of techniques used.
There is also a very large amount of information on verious threads here at Deeperblue.

In fact I already sent some links to Las Dudas in the thread http://forums.deeperblue.com/beginner-freediving/84051-does-age-effect-freediving-training.html

It is really much more efficient to join a club, a group of fellow freedivers, or take a course. Even if you have to travel to take the course, in the short time you will get much better idea what you have to work on, and enough information for creating a training program that fits your needs and possibilities. I know Fred Buyle did some courses in NEMO33. And on the link I posted, there are several other AIDA instructors in Belgium. And even if it does not work in Belgium, you can always go for a short course to France, Holland, or Germany.

Contact AIDA Belgique. www.aidabelgique.be They have training groups all over Belgium and organize competitions several times per year. Next one is 25 October in Liege.
