Hey guys, just introducing myself :)

My name is Thomas, 18yrs old, from Wollongong on the East Coast of Australia - about 1hr south of Sydney.
Being the 5th generation of avid fishermen, I've always had a thing for the ocean! When I was much younger, my Dad bought me an old Sea Hornet from a garage sale which is the one I still use today. I'm hoping to further extend my knowledge about Spearfishing & Free Diving and share/read some stories form fellow users!

As for going spearfishing, I've never caught anything too substantial or brag-worthy! Where I live there's a mixture of sand bottom, shallow rocks and caves, run-offs and man-made structures that I usually spear around often bringing home a few Drummer, Black Fish (ludrick), Bream & occasional Salmon!

Here's what I'm using - an oldy but a goody ;)

- Sea Hornet, J.D.Preece & Co. Sydney (I think its a 'Recruit' circa 1980)
- 100mm Barrel
- All stainless & plastic and would normally have 2 rubbers on it.

On a side note: I've also got a GoPro! I'm planning on attaching it to my gun soon and will, hopefully, be able to share some awesome videos!

Thanks for stopping by!
