Commentary Your Sunscreen CAN Make a Difference

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Also, many folks are probably thinking (if they think about it at all) that the sunscreen they put on at the beach is miles away from the reefs. But the main problem may be divers who also use sunscreen, they swim right up to the coral with sunscreen oozing from their skin.

It's actually a major problem. Sunscreen worn during the day is washed off at night and makes it way via sewers to the sea, people on the beach wearing sunscreen that washes off in the sea and kills reefs. Divers are a fraction of the problem but an important piece of the puzzle to help fix it.
