hey guys look like im headed ur way n goin to the dell's to go fishin and resort hoppin wit my family and best friend any tips or advice? places to go or not 2?

Aaron- The dells is about 10 mins north of me. There are a couple lake north of there about 15 mins that have great spearing opertunities. What dates are you planning on coming?

Dates would be good man. The dells are..."an experience". Are you planning on going for the waterparks, the amusement parks, or the actual...DELLS?!? lol So few people even know the dells exist now its kinda sad.

Although visibility under the water at the dells is zero, a boat trip (especially your own boat) on the dells can be a wonderful day

june 18- 22 n sounds like no boat bringing car cause a gas prices so no truck...

you won't need a boat- Lake Delton got blown out today- it's no longer there. Plus not worth the gas money.

Its nice to have a boat, no doubt. But I really dont know of any lakes that you CANT dive from shore.

HAHA yeah lake Delton is just gone....like competely drianed out, one of the wierdest things ive ever seen!

Did anyone dive lake delton? I know that not all dammed lakes are dirty... but most of them around here are.

If the vis wasn't bad enough- the OTHER People on the lake were good enough reason NOT to go on the lake. People have died because of "These People" and their reckless behavior. But the color of the water is that of the river-So, I don't consider it a diving lake.

Yeah, thats sad. Hyeparis of this website lives in Russia, (But is Armenian) and he dives in rivers all the time. Its a shame that we dont have the same conditions here, because if we did... I might be the carp slayer. :martial

oh wow... n sorry guys im cant go now but kept the place im gona go later this year got surgery

I dove Lake Delton a couple of times.

One of the summer camps on the lake needed me to put in some anchors for their diving raft. Vis was pretty bad, most of the work was done by feel, but I did manage to see a couple of feet if I stayed shallow.

Jon

First lake I ever dove in had about a foot and half visibility range. Its 58 feet deep, so you can imagine as a 6 year old how I thought it was a dark, endless pit. lol
