Hi

I'm new on the forums, but have been freediving and spearfishing for 30 years on and off. I've been scuba diving for 25 of those years, but lately I've been freediving more. Looking at getting a custom 5mm wetsuit to stretch the season a bit more than my current old 3mm allows.

Lots of great info on the forums so I'm mostly reading and probably won't post too much.

Thanks

About 5 months in comfort if I don't go below 10-15m much. Sometimes it is bitterly cold from 10m and down.
I do have a scuba wet suit that is 7+mm as well, but the cut and comfort isn't up to a freediving suit. I use a drysuit in winter when scubadiving.

I'm thinking with a good 5mm I could use it well into winter and in spring as well.

Welcome to Deeperblue. I hear great things about custom suits. I looked into ordering one and the list of features was impressive.

Thanks for the welcome. Planning on a 5mm from Aqualand in black :)
