Recommeded fins + foot pockets up to -30m

...-30m, I recommend looking for fiberglass or carbon fins, which offer a great balance of flexibility and power. Popular models include the Cressi Gara 3000 LD for comfort and efficiency, or the Mares Razor Pro for performance. Pair them with foot pockets like the Cressi Fins Pockets or Mares...

    Fins for newbie?

...for snorkelling, but they do flap about a bit so if your looking to dive a bit deeper regularly go for a harder fin. I've just retired my cressi gara 3000's after 10 years of constant hard use so I can only recommend. However, as the guys above said if you are in cold water you'll need socks...

    Fins for newbie?

That's really helpful thanks so much! I didn't know I could get carbon fins that cheap (just looking at Freedivershop now), but yes the shipping is quite a lot, but still not bad total. And I'll check the C4 out too. :)

    Fins for newbie?

...in my mind, they just do not have enough spring or rigidity to get efficient power from the foot pocket into the blade. I have a pair of Cressi Gara 3000 one piece fins and they are a great design and fit but might as well be compared to hard stiffness fins. The C4 Umberto Pelizzari look...

Recommeded fins + foot pockets up to -30m

Hi Musubi, thank you for your replay and your questions. I had a C4 carbon (old model, probably 15 years old) stiffness 30, so i'm looking for something similar. Any suggestion?

Recommeded fins + foot pockets up to -30m

...the currents I run. So I run Medium stiffness and it's awesome. Easiest is to compare to your current blade stiffness and see if you want to go softer/harder/same.Another decent plastic type fins are the Cressi Gara's. The Beuchat may be more customizable if you plan to swap blades later.

    Mako Blades/Cressi Modular Footpockets

Hoping someone can help.Has anyone ever attached Mako fiberglass blades to Cressi Gara Modular foot pockets? And if so, was it a super hassle? Those foot pockets are the only ones that fit me well, but I have the blades already (and I really like them) and would love to combine, but am finding...

    Cressi Gara Modular Foopockets

Hi, greetings from Deepspot. Mares Razor Apnea fiberglass blades fit in the Cressi Gara Modular footpockets. Holes in blades may need to be slightly enlarged (ca. 1mm) to adjust precisely and that's all.

    Fins Recommendation

First carbon fin. Cetma or Alchmey? Small diver.

You absolutely do not need 33 degrees given your background. I have been swimming for close to 50 years including being on a team for close to 20. My 22 degrees Mares fins are annoying to use on a surface. As far as which fins - impossible to predict. After many years of using carbon/fiberglass...

    Best fin size for Skindiving

...rubber/plastic one-piece ones like the Palau's) to help with efficiency of kicking. Which freediving fins did you buy? I think the Cressi Gara's are a decent pair. They're longer freediving-like blades, but with plastic blades, so they're more affordable and less worrisome on scratches...

Freediving fins when scuba diving from a boat

Whenever I'm not in a Drysuit I use My Freediving Fins for scuba. Regarding Durability, my Cressi Gara's have outlived all of my scuba specific fins over the years. I worked liveaboards for a long time so have done thousands of dives jumping off the back platform of a boat. Walk to the edge of...

    Oceanic F-10 v3 vs. Aqua lung i200c computer/watch

That will set you up nicely, good choice on the fins, first pair I bought too. These are very stiff fins so be prepared for a good workout but at least you wont have to worry about diving in the rocks or anything.
