Hoping someone can help.
Has anyone ever attached Mako fiberglass blades to Cressi Gara Modular foot pockets? And if so, was it a super hassle? Those foot pockets are the only ones that fit me well, but I have the blades already (and I really like them) and would love to combine, but am finding that the tendons on the Cressi foot pockets seem like they won't stay put on the blade towards the very end (like the Cressi clips are too small to go over the rails and they just pop right off?) And also, I don't know if I am lining up the blade in the pocket correctly - it either seems like I just need to widen the holes a little bit to attach the mounting stuff... or make new holes entirely if I slide them all the way down, but then I get nervous I am sliding them down too far and I just don't know what I am doing.
Totally new to these kinds of fins and it's been a super struggle to find something that fits. I've tried on a million different foot pocket brands and these have been the only ones that work for me and don't feel awful on my apparently odd feet. Thanks in advance!!
