Hello Everyone,
Been practicing Static Apnea since April 2018 and so far I absolutely LOVE IT! It is now part of my morning routine and I wouldn't change it for the world. I very much enjoy getting up nice and early in the morning to complete the table and then continue on with my day. Currently my tables are:
CO2
Warm up and Cool down of 1min30sec. 6 rounds of holding for 1min55 and breaks decreasing from 1min30 to 30seconds.
02
Warm up and Cool down of 1min30sec. 6 rounds of holding for 1min55 (increase by 5 seconds each round) and breaks of 1min30.
My routine is to complete 2 weeks of C02 and then move on to 2 weeks of 02. This is done every day. After the 4 week period I do the same tables again but this time adding 5 seconds to my breath holds while the rest period always remains the same. With these tables I am gaining 5 seconds every 4 weeks which equates to 65seconds gain per year.
PB = 3min36seconds
So far these exercises are very calming yet extremely easy. I'm not at the point of really pushing myself with an almost 0% failure rate.
Reason for post: Just looking to get peoples opinions or ideas on how i'm doing. I'm treating this like a marathon and not a sprint and I think my body will love me for that. Much thanks!
