Hi everybody!

Yesterday I went to Puerto Vallarta, and almost everything seemed like a bad fishing day... I forgot my mask and snorkel :vangry , there was a huge zone with "red tide", the water was colder than usual, very bad visibility and the sea was not calmed at all... But since I live far from the sea and I'm kind of stubborn I wanted to get in the water "No matter what".

I went to my usal spot wich is 20-50 Feet deep, and not even in the shallower areas was possible to see the bottom, very bad vis, but 3 minutes later, when I started to get pesimistic... A huge group of Jack crevalles surrounded me and it seemed like endless... I picked one and pulled the trigger, and since I was on 3 bands, I got 3 fish :p !!! First and second one stone dead but the third was just wounded and after 1 minute it escaped.
I made a second shot and got another 2 but one escaped (I never intended to get the second one but you can imagine how dense was the group).

A very funny day, after 5 minutes I was done, the fish left and again nothing else could be seen. You never know with mother nature, some days I have to dive several times and get nothing :duh , and yesterday with all the circumstances against me I got a decent fishing... And really sometimes I have to try harder to pinch the olive in my martini than yesterday getting the fish!

Best wishes!

Hi guys!!!

You're right... After the second dry Martini pinching the olive gets harder than blue water hunting sometimes!!! :) .

And green diver... My gun is a Riffe midhandle "No kai"... A bit big for me but is a nice toy! BTW Since you're in Gibraltar... Do you spearfish with shane shac? ... That guy shoots very good !.

Best wishes and Saludos a todos!!
Luis
