Nice grouper. Do you live in Oman? I'm looking for info regarding spearfishing there for some friend that will pass there in a motor-yacht.

spearfishing in oman

its illegal to spearfish in oman, but no one really gives you any trouble, just be descrete about it. most diving sites are isolated so you have nothing to worry about.

if you need any further info please do let me know

How about passing through airport customs with spearguns? Those guys I work for usually fly their own planes to meet the yacht at the location.

Please email me at: tedbudion@ig.com.br

Yeah, that's nice. Post a picture of a 50 kg grouper and then tell us it is illegal to spearfish where you got it :duh

Angelos,

If were privy to non-first-world law and regulations you would know that there are some laws that "catch" other don't. And never be caught on other side of the law if you don't know key local people. Sometimes not even money is the answer, if you catch my drift. Am I proud of that? Nope, but that's the way things work.
