This is first time for me to do training for the spearfishing/freedive season in 6 monthly cycle.I trained before but not on this principle and lenght. During the years i have learned a lot of training techniques such as Eric Fattah-Holistic freediving,Aharon Solomons on line coatching,manual-of-freediving Umberto Pelizzari...
( and now i will try to arrange it in a single training unit).
After 3 month of cardio and pool dynamics with emphasis on short recovery(high C02 ) i moved to frc and empty lungs dyn.including long dynamics with long recovery(low O2).I trained 2-3 dyn.in pool a week
along with dry statics and walking apneas.
Mainly my training is divided into three main stages 1. High Co2 tolerance (3 months),2.Low 02 tolerance at the pool( 2 months) and 3.final stage diving on rope and the maximum attempts (1-3 times per week), which would replace all the dynamics and other supporting training.Final stage is also reserved for fine tuning of equilasation tehniques, relaxation, correct duck dives, finning techniques...(of course to write it all i need 100 pages)...
What do you think would such a plan of training bring the expected progress?!
-The main reason why I am writing this post is that experienced divers can see and react with they suggestion, and beginners to get the idea where to start. please write your
ideas and suggestions.Diving season is about to begin...
Many thanx..
