Whadup guys My names Royce and I'm from Oahu Hawaii.
I started spear fishing like a two months ago after my cousin gave my his old broken Hammerhead proteus 75. I went to the warehouse got it fixed , new bands , mono and shock chord. Went out for the first time and shot a tiny aholehole and was hooked lol.
I love how you progress after you continue to go. With fishing, after a while you learned all the different rigs, best lead setup, different baits, you get better at casting but after a while it's just waiting. I LOVE how you progress with spearfishing. Every time you go you slowly get better at things like holding your breath, your depths, your aiming, different fish , different techniques to attract certain fish, equalizing, quicker reloads, STALKING, a whole bunch of things you get better at and its a great feeling. I only been diving for like 2 months but I plan on sticking to it. My cousins and I go every weekend, throw our catch on the grill, have a few caronas, enjoy the beach and we usually leave like 1 in the morning. I love this new hobby and I appreciate forums like this for all my spearfishing needs and advice. Thanx
