How can I begin to train my dry static apnea? I used this table, please feel free to give any advise on it:

- First I lay down in bed for 5 minutes, breathing relaxed, focusing on my muscles and mind
- Then I begin with a 5-5-5-5 pattern of inhaling, retaining, exhaling, retaining... for another 5 minutes. I do it with a complete Yoga breathing (belly breahing, medium breating plus upper breathing)
- Then I begin to go for a PB breath... the first time I do it, I get 1'30'', 5 contractions beginning at 1'15''... and the second time 2'10'' with 2 contractions beginning at 1'50''...

Is this the best way to train?

Thanks a lot

Your prep is probably better than mine until the first hold. Then try something like.. Hold until the first contraction or a dramatic decrease in heart rate the first time. Four minutes of your breathing and do it again. After a series of eight, you will have a feel for how much warm up your body likes.
My best gains were after I could ignore the contractions. Watching the second hand or counting heartbeats is far more productive than counting contractions, for me.

best wishes

enjoying the contractions is what works for me just have fun imagine your lungs are dancing.
