Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Is it true that spearfishing is totally illegal in Malaysia and speargun carry the same penalty as carrying a fire arm............meaning you get hanged ? Just curious.

I've been to Tioman island ( ages ago ) , not too bad, I am sure you been there too.

I am ur 1000 km away neighbour. Probably the closest you get in the forum.

I'm taking off to Malasia for 10 days.. Taking my spearguns along for the ride..

That said, any idea of where or how to get a speargun license for tourists..?
