Hi everyone,

I am a complete newbie that got hooked up by a friends in freediving and I was wondering if someone can recommend me some techniques and training methods to start with for dry practices and for pool trainings.

Just point me in some directions - I will try to compile something.

Thanks in advance.

I did.

I am trying to put together a program to train at. Not breaking records program but simply preparing myself for the freedive in ocean and I want to be prepared for it by knowing my body reactions and what to expect.

Most likely I will start with CO2 and O2 tables along with dynamic and static apnea in a pool. At the end of august I will travel with a friends to our sea and will try to do some dives with them.

Make sure that you have a trained buddy in the pool. No underwater breath holds alone, please!

Well - this is going to be a problem since I still have no one to live in my city, but I have talked to the lifeguard that is responsible for the pool - explained him what I am doing and since he is an ex swimming coach he will even help me.

For sea diving - I have a friends that hooked me up so I am not going to dive without having someone aside me.
