Anyone know anything about Abaco Islands in the Bahamas? One of my friends at work is looking for a 4th couple to share a week at a guest house there. The Bone fishing sounds great, but cool dives would close the deal for me.

:friday The diving in abaco was great. I stayed 8 days at Small hope bay lodge in abaco. 3 dives a day all week including the blue hole, a night dive and a dive over the wall to 185 feet. The dive staff there is some of the best i have ever experienced to date. I also got married there. What a great week!!!! Isaac

Hi Spud,

Diving in the Abacos is excellent, vis runs 50-100 ft. There are even some fish and lobster left to make dinner out of. I've dove the area off and on since 1980. The west side reef line is still pretty fabulous for big fish. You need a small boat to get to the good stuff. Give me a little better idea of where you will be and I can probably reccommend some spots.
